the west bloomfield school district recently accepted a donation of 160 fda approved n-95 masks from the rotary district 6380. the donation was made possible through the rotary district 6380’s 100k mask challenge.
these masks will be used by school district personnel in a variety of capacities including quarantine containment room staff within each school, self contained classroom staff and more.
皇冠体育投注dr. gerald hill, wbsd superintendent and immediate past president of the west bloomfield rotary club said, ““the rotary club of west bloomfield along with most of the 53 rotary clubs in district 6380 have contributed funds toward this worthy project. we are grateful to our local rotary club and rotary district 6380 for this generous donation. these masks will help keep our students, staff and families safe as we work each day to do what’s best for kids.”
the project goal is to donate 100,000 masks to frontline workers. currently the district 6380 has purchased and donated almost 60,000 n-95 masks. in order to raise additional funds for the purchase of 100,000 masks, rotary district 6380 is now selling customized non-medical grade rotary masks in sizes ranging from child to adult. through a partnership with glow, a women’s empowerment organization, the masks are made by women in india helping them become financially independent all while providing high quality, protective face coverings at an affordable price.
